SHIPPING

WHEN SHIPPING A PHONOGRAPH OR A PHONOGRAPH MOTOR, YOU MUST ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE SPRING IN THE UNIT IS "COMPLETELY WOUND DOWN" SO THERE IS NO TENSION, WHAT-SO-EVER, ON ANY OF THE GEARS. ALL MOVABLE PARTS MUST BE SECURED AND PADDED SO THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BANG AROUND, DAMAGING THEMSELVES OR OTHER ADJACENT PARTS.

THE CRANK AND TRUNTABLE DO NOT NEED TO BE SHIPPED, BUT IF YOU DO SHIP THEM, MAKE SURE THAT YOU PAD THEM WELL, TO KEEP FROM DAMAGING OTHER PARTS.

REMOVE THE REPRODUCER, (IT USUALLY TWIST OR UNSCREWS OFF) AND WRAP IT HEAVY PADDING OR BUBBLE WRAP. (YOU CAN NEVER OVER PAD A REPRODUCER PART).
